Zisize Villages Foundation is a transformative non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing marginalized rural communities in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga. Established to address the unique challenges posed by historical labor migration, structural inequality and high unemployment our mission is to empower these communities through comprehensive programs that promote social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
Focusing on peri-urban and isolated villages within forest and mining belts, we adopt a community-driven approach to confront the root causes of poverty, isolation, powerlessness, and voicelessness. Through education, skill development, and resource management, we aim to restore dignity, build resilience, and foster a sense of ownership among community members.
